First: You must have a Frames Capable Browser. Netscape 4.7 is my favorite as of this writing, but I also look at my pages with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 just to make sure all is working well.
Second: Someone must be on at same time as you. Kind of hard to chat with someone if there is no one there!|| The time shown on Chat (see below) is the date and time on the server running the Chat Program. It is located in the Eastern Time Zone of the USA.

Message above shows:
Name (or handle) of person who sent message ( Dale ) in this instance.
Date of Server running Chat Script ( 11/18/01 ).
Time of Server running Chat Script ( 09:38:52 ) 24 hour clock.
Message Dale Sent for others to see ( OK, that's great! ).
Third: Please enter your name or handle in the "Your Name" box so others know who is taking. You may check or un-check the (save name) box and program will automatically know who you are.
Forth: Enter the message in the "Message" box and then click the "ENTER" button. In a few seconds ( less than 20 seconds ) your message should appear in the lower right "Chat Window". Others in the Room will see message as well. Another thing that happens is the top window will change to a single message box entry. This is where you can now enter more messages. System will remember your name from here...
Fifth: Links in the Left panel will take you to this FAQ, the Ford Model-A WWWBoard and to the main Ford Model-A Page as well as other pages on the Ahoga Web site. There is also a counter which will show how many people have looked at the Chat Room since it started its Operation.
Sixth: The Chat Room messages are set up automatically update every 20 seconds.
If this is too slow for your liking you can cause it to update faster by clicking the mouse where it says "HERE" to update the Message Window Immediately.
Seventh: If some one has said something you don't want to loose you can save the
last 100+ lines of messages by Pressing the "Shift Key" and pressing the mouse on the "HERE" where it says to save the last lines or by hitting "Click HERE to View Previous Chats" you can see chatting for about the last day or so.
Eight: On the bottom of the page in grey is the number of people watching chat. Some are shy and don't talk but you will always know how many are lurking...
