For Sale (Ad #8356)
Ford Model A engine: It is currently on a test stand. It is a good running motor. It has a little bit of wrist pin noise, other then that it sounds great and runs strong. I have had this motor running for about an hour. It has no oil leaking from the rear main or anywhere else. The motor number is A3055608, meaning Ford produced it in March of 1930. This is for the engine only. The test stand, fly wheel, fly wheel housing, water pump, exhaust manifold, starter, and distributor are not included. I put those parts on, so I go see how it runs. The motor looks great. $850

For Sale (Ad #8349)
1931 Tudor
original standard bore May '31 engine
believed to have only 40-50,000 miles, but no documentation
late 1950s repaint, still shines up very pretty
original interior and roof fabric
factory paint on garnish moldings and interior plating are both like new
door latches and window regulators operate like new
minimal wear on original running boards
very straight original radiator
factory safety glass on all 4 sides
Added before we purchased:
cowl lights
manifold heater
an unusual Stewart-Warner spotlight
solid-state voltage regulator
Since 2006:
original shocks rebuilt by John Holland
Teflon steering & shock ball seats
rebuilt generator
stainless steel muffler
fuse block
front seat belts
front floor mat
original gas gauge restored
Mitchell overdrive (driven about 3,000 miles)
new battery- December 2009
Options, your choice:
shortened or standard length pittman arm
original steel fan or repro aluminum fan
What it needs:
1) if we were keeping the car, we would re-upholster the front seats; the passenger seat back is very worn and drivers seat has been covered over with odd fabric.
2) the roof fabric has lost much of its water repellency, despite repeated coatings with various things. if you plan to tour with this car, you will want to replace.
we drove this Tudor from Florida to Williamsburg in 2007 and to Dallas in 2008.
$15,000 with the Mitchell OD, $13,000 without.
please email for more photos. thanks!
