Working on my 1930 coupe Looks like the second owner Never grease the Spring shackles, all 4 have worn some of there
Perch away and one looks like its 50% thinner on the right rear.
The Rt rear shackle bolt was broken is was worn though so much.

I see in some of the parts catalogs they have a Steel Bushing that you first ream or drill out the perch and then press the sleeve into the newly enlarged hole.

Seams to me that it would be a good idea to grind 3 small recesses on to each end of the sleeve and then Weld it in place
at the ground recesses to give it strength and to bond it to the mount.

Has any one here used they sleeves and what was your out come ?
Thanks James
