Hello--had a 1931 pick up truck that had the same problem--this is how I fixed the problem--did not drain the tank just sanded the area to bare metal--scrubbed the area with a bar of wax--painted over the area--no problem ever again with leaking--NO CRAP--Bob Watson--Key West, Florida
