Sure sounds like a jammed bendix. Follow advice already given.

FYI: If you have an original crank shaft pulley rachet/nut the size is 1 3/8". On your car the socket can be slipped over the rachet. Then use socket extensions through the crank opening in the radiator shell. This will allow you to turn the motor over.

By all means, don't try the socket method with the ignition on. Big trouble if the engine should fire.

Best you find a crank; they are easy to come by.
