It sounds like the motor has seized. If you can not turn the engine with a hand crank - do not use the starter. you could damage the starter, housing or flywheel ring gear. The crankshaft ratchet nut takes a 1 3/8 inch wrench. Most Model A parts stores sell a special wrench that you can use without removing the radiator, or you can buy a new crank from them. Let us know what seized - crank, piston, or what.
