Help Please! I Think I Broke My Model A!!!!

I had the Model A (1931 Fordor) off-road on some Jeep trails over the weekend. Just like I often do. It ran great. I did splash through a few big mud puddles earlier in the day, but it ran well for a good hour afterwards.

Anyhow, I shut it off, and then an hour later it would not start. I get a "click" from the starter relay, but no "clunk" from the stater gear. Horn and lights work. I tried jumping from a 12V vehicle (mine is 6V, and I did remember to reverse polarity), but nothing. Tried by-passing the solenoid, but no turnover (just hot cables).

Engine was not over-heated when parked.

Tried push-starting in 2nd gear, but wheels locked when I let clutch out (this was on grass, haven't tried on pavement yet).

I tried turning the front pulley by hand, and it doesn't want to budge, evn with a second person pulling on the fan-belt.

I don't have a crank, so I'm looking for a socket to fit the pulley nut so I can try to turn the engine, but looks like I will have to remove radiator to try that.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Thanks in advance.
