I am reinstalling the rear motor mounts on my 1929 Standard Roadster (engine is out). Les Andrews book says to cut off the right angle flap from the new rubber motor mount pads. Is this necessary? Why? If so, why do they manufacture them this way? Thanks for answering my newbie questions. Bruce
