maybe the nut is too tight on the carb, the rod through the connector under the gastank is binding. which carb you using. zenith ,tilly. or the other one? i put some grease on the threads on mine before assembly worked it in and out till it worked easyer. dont close it too tight or you bend your tip did you buy both parts new? some of them are not so good.
