My advice - keep the trunk.I made the mistake of converting my 30 coupe trunk to a rumble seat back in the 1960's when that was a "fad" thing to do. Very few people including kids have ridden in it and they didn't like it when they did and it's not very useful for hauling stuff back there as a rumble seat. I also installed a roll down rear window in the 1980's which I do like for ventilation during summer driving.
