Oil leak from top of head

Hi

I have a bit of a leak from the top of the head, under the bolt that holds the cable to the distributor. Looks like it's coming from the stud. Ideas on how to fix? Could I pull the stud and put some sealer around it and re-install? Is it indicitive of a head gasket failure?
