I've had this discussion just recently concerning my '31 S/W fordor. Steve Ryan
of the Lehigh Valley Model A Club and national board member of MARC, has done many body styles over the years and says that he has used the tack strips from a later early V-8, like '35-'36. You have to bend the small tabs holding the Model A rope and insert the new one. I'm not certain which fits better... 1/2 x 3/16"
or 5/8 x 1/8"; both are available from Bob Drake. Just a suggestion. Harrie
