I had a similar problem with my Vic several years ago. When I would slam the drivers side door shut the pop-out would do just that, turning the ignition back on. My solution was to remove the assembly from the car and send it to the "Key Guy", Cal Allen in Chandler, AZ 480-892-0456. Cal is an expert on anything keyable in a Model A. His prices are reasonable and he is a nice fellow to do business with. Tom Endy
