How do you downshift these beauties?

My new Model A shifts very smoothly using the technique of double clutching, but I have yet to find a technique that allows me to downshift from 3rd to 2nd with out grinding the gears. I believe I read that one technique is to use the basic double clutch technique, but rev the engine a bit prior to the shift - it doesn't seem to work for me. Any technique assitance will be greatly appreciated!
