Tim, my car as a rear end geared high for highway driving so when I am travelling slowly, such as driving around a neighborhood, it works great keeping it in second, but 3rd lugs it down too much for for real slow driving. Also, I have insert rather than babbit bearings. Fortunately, there are not too many hills around this area of Florida! :)
